Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most recognised beginner scuba certification and your first step into underwater exploration.

From your very first breaths underwater to your qualifying open water dives, you will develop the skills needed to become a confident and capable diver.

To enrol, you must:
Be medically fit to scuba dive
Be comfortable in the water
Complete a standard diver medical questionnaire
Minimum age: 10 years old
No previous diving experience is required.
How The Course Works

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to build on your existing certification, expanding both your experience and capability underwater.
Rather than classroom-heavy learning, this course is about learning by diving. You’ll complete a series of instructor-led adventure dives that introduce deeper diving, underwater navigation, and a selection of specialist dives tailored to your interests and environment.
On completion, you’ll be certified to dive to 30 metres* worldwide, opening access to a broader range of dive sites, conditions, and experiences.
Whether completed in the UK or as a block course in Europe or Thailand, Advanced Open Water with In The Blue is delivered with a focus on control, awareness, and confident progression.

The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level in scuba diving. You move from being a diver to becoming a dive leader, learning how to supervise activities, assist instructors, and manage real divers in real environments.
This is not just more skills. It is about judgement, awareness, and responsibility. You will develop problem prevention, leadership presence, and the ability to run dives safely and calmly.

Prerequisites
You must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent)
• Have current Emergency First Response training (within 24 months)
• Have a minimum of 40 logged dives to start and 60 to certify
• Meet medical fitness requirements
