About In The Blue Scuba

In The Blue Scuba was founded by Jacob Moroney and James Hennah, two divers who share a belief that scuba training should be considered, well paced, and delivered properly, whether it takes place in the UK or at one of our exceptional locations abroad.

Built on experience rather than volume, In The Blue Scuba focuses on quality instruction, small groups, and calm progression, creating confident divers rather than rushed certifications.

Our approach

We don’t believe in shortcuts, crowded courses, or off the shelf experiences.

Every course we deliver is shaped around the individual, with time taken to build comfort, control, and genuine capability underwater.

From first certification through to advanced and specialist training, our aim is simple to provide divers with the skills and confidence to enjoy the underwater world safely and independently.

Jacob Moroney co founded In The Blue Scuba to bring a structured, high standard approach to diver development, with a focus on calm progression and an experience that feels refined from first contact through to certification and beyond.

We’re always interested in hearing from exceptional divers and instructors who care about doing things properly.

We keep groups small, standards high, and egos low.
