PADI Rescue Diver

To enrol, you must:
Be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
Hold a current Emergency First Response (EFR) qualification*
Meet medical and fitness requirements
* EFR training can be completed alongside the Rescue Diver course if required.
How the course works
The Rescue Diver course combines knowledge development with realistic, scenario-based training.
Learning elements
Theory
Learn accident prevention, self-rescue techniques, stress management, and emergency response planning.
Practical Skills
Practice rescue techniques including assisting tired or panicked divers, managing unresponsive divers, and safe exits.
Rescue Scenarios
Complete a series of challenging, real-world scenarios designed to test decision-making, teamwork, and control under pressure.

On completion, you will:
Be able to identify and manage potential diving emergencies
Respond effectively to distressed or unresponsive divers
Plan dives with enhanced safety and risk awareness
Be better prepared for leadership or professional training
