Emergency First Response (EFR)
The Emergency First Response course teaches primary and secondary care skills so you can respond confidently to medical emergencies both in and out of the water.
You will practise realistic scenarios including CPR, unconscious casualty management, bleeding control, and illness assessment. The focus is calm, simple actions that make a real difference while waiting for professional help.

Secondary care
Injury assessment, bandaging, shock management, and monitoring.
Scenario practice
Realistic role play to build confidence and recall under pressure.
What this certification allows
On completion you will:
• Provide CPR and emergency care
• Manage common injuries and illnesses
• Meet prerequisites for Rescue Diver and professional levels
Certification valid for 24 months
