PADI Assistant Instructor
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the next step after Divemaster and introduces you to teaching, not just supervising. You begin conducting academic and confined water training under instructor guidance and develop real instructional skills.
You will learn how to present skills clearly, manage students effectively, and understand how people learn underwater. This is the bridge between leadership and becoming a full instructor.

Ideal for:
• Certified Divemasters progressing toward Instructor
• Dive professionals wanting teaching experience
• Anyone preparing for the Instructor Development Course (IDC)
• Divers who enjoy coaching and mentoring others
Prerequisites
You must:
• Be a certified PADI Divemaster (or equivalent)
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have current Emergency First Response training (within 24 months)
• Meet medical fitness requirements

We run courses most weeks throughout the summer season across our UK and overseas locations, allowing us to offer flexible scheduling to suit individual availability wherever possible.
